Exhibition of Contemporary Austrian and German Street Photography at the Anzenberger Gallery in Vienna
After the huge success of Seconds2Real’s “fascination street” exhibition in Berlin with more than 650 visitors last year, “fascination street” is now coming to Vienna. We are very pleased to announce our upcoming exhibition at Anzenberger Gallery in Vienna March 31st – April 13th, 2012.
In the exhibition “fascination street goes vienna” the photographic collective Seconds2Real shows contemporary street photography focusing on Germany and Austria. Opposed to the traditional strongholds of street photography like Paris, London or New York they are drawing attention to Berlin, Munich or Vienna. The long history of street photography is continued by the Seconds2Real photographers today with a contemporary view on public life.
Participating photographers are Alexander Magedler (Vienna), Andreas Stelter (Minden), Christian Reister (Berlin), Elisabeth Schuh (Vienna), Friedrich Schiller (Vienna), Guido Steenkamp (Berlin), Kay von Aspern (Vienna), Mario Cuic (Munic), Natalie Opocensky (Vienna), Siegfried Hansen (Hamburg) and Thorsten Strasas (Berlin).
We would be happy to have the pleasure of welcoming you and invite you warmly to join us at the Vernissage, Friday, March 30th, 7pm. In parallel to the exhibition we will also do free Gallery Talks & Tours attended by many of the Seconds2Real photographers. Please see Gallery Talks & Tours dates below.
We are looking forward to meeting you!
